Pastiche, which means “an artistic work consisting of a melody of pieces taken from various sources” is our Middle School choir.
The choir consists of ~40 6th-8th grade students. Students focus on application of vocal fundamentals through intermediate-level choral music. Repertoire is selected from an intermediate to advanced level for both treble and mixed voices. Students also receive instruction in music theory, ear training and solo performance.
Previously our middle school choirs have been invited to perform at the Colorado Music Educators’ Conference and throughout Colorado in Colorado Springs, Crested Butte, Cripple Creek, Vail, and Grand Junction. They have also collaborated with the Hebrew Chorale in concert.
