Thursdays in Vocal: Theory, Diction, Senior Seminar, Acting – Starts September 6|
1st block (1:20-2:05pm)

2nd block (2:10-2:55pm)

Performance Classes (starting September 7th) – see schedule posted on the bulletin board outside the large vocal room:
Your voice instructor will be working with you to prepare for this. I will also send a reminder of your upcoming performance class a week prior to you singing. Your responsibility is to turn in music to Mr. Durfee (directly to him or the box by the vocal stairwell) by the Monday leading up to your performance class. You will also be scheduled for a rehearsal time the week of your performance and that will be communicated in the email sent by Mr. Durfee.
Citywide Choir Free to take part in!
Wednesday, September 19th (at DSA)
Choir Director, Brian Eichenberger, will be coming to DSA to conduct auditions for Citywide. There are 3 audition components: 1) America The Beautiful – 50 points 2) aural recall – 40 points, ad 3) sight-reading – 10 points. More details will be given in class.

Fall Concert (Chorale, Bellissima, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble)
Wednesday, October 10th, 7:00pm
This concert will feature our high school ensembles. Rehearsal on concert repertoire will begin next week. Also, please reserve Saturday, September 29th from 9:00am-4:00pm for rehearsal in preparation for this concert.
All-State Auditions Oct 11, 12, 13 at Englewood High School
