Not So Silent Night

In the event you’ve been living under a rock, the Cinema department has been working diligently with the Orchestra department to create a night of amusement, drama, and terror to kick off the Halloween season! What does that mean? Well, On October 15th, you’ll have two chances to enjoy student made silent films nurtured with a deft touch of live orchestra! That’s right, live orchestra.

Come through this Wednesday at 5pm or 7pm to share the experience and support the Denver School of the Arts community. We are anticipating a large crowd and tickets will sell out. If you wish to avoid disappointment, you may buy your tickets in advance.

And for all you wonderful Cinema majors who occasionally read this blog, remember this event is required to attend. 🙂

The orchestra will be conducted by the studious Dr. Enrique Lasanski and performed by DSA middle and high school orchestra students. The films were created by the 1st half of the high school Video Cinema Arts production course.

Test Revision Frame for Essay Question #2

Hey DSA Cinema High School Students,

Here’s the frame (as promised) for the second essay question! Remember to use knowledge and key terminology from the DSLR Lecture (check out the study guide) as well as the Lighting Lecture (no study guide available – use your notes).

Remember all revisions are due Monday, September 22nd for full credit.
