Updated information for School Based Health Centers during Covid-19
While there is no vaccine for COVID-19, parents can and should take their children for their regularly scheduled immunizations. Please call your child’s health care provider for more details on how to schedule these visits.
Health centers can provide well child checks, immunizations, medication refills, reproductive/sexual health services, assist families in obtaining insurance coverage and answer any non-urgent medical questions you or your student might have. In addition, SBHCs can provide individual and family therapy for new and existing patients. Psychiatric care for new and existing patients is also available.
As a reminder, SBHCs provide services at NO cost to families.
Students needing care may begin by calling 303-602-8958 or 720-424-2050. After hours and weekends, students should call the Denver Health nurse line at 303-739-1211 for information on how to access care. Or see the attached flyer link above.
