Stagecraft & Design Updates
On Thursday, Oct. 17, the senior Stagecraft & Design students are hosting a Fall Festival at DSA to raise money for their senior project. Please help out the seniors and spread the word about this fun event.
DSA Fill the Gap Fundraising – Final Week
Fill the Gap is our annual fundraising effort for DSA. Thank you to the 27 families that have given donations already. The funding that comes in through this school-wide program has a huge impact on our department. We have received funding for equipment upgrades, guest artists and countless other functions in our program. Currently the Stagecraft & Design department only has a 44% participation rate in this important school-wide fundraising effort. Please take a few minutes to make a donation at whatever financial level fits your family budget.
Catherine Huggins, Stagecraft & Design parent, has written a letter for parents explaining more of how this fundraiser impacts our department and the school. Click here to download Catherine’s letter.
Please click on or copy the link below to make a donation or you can write a check (make checks payable to DSAFF) and send in a one-time donation:
Parent Volunteers for Preview Mornings
On December 2, 4, 6, 9 and 11, DSA will be holding Preview Mornings for prospective applicant families. If you are available to help with the tours from 7:20-9:30am on any of these days please send an email to email@example.com. If you haven’t led a tour before, DSA Assistant Principal Miranda Odom will be providing an optional training on November 20 at 7:40-9:00am.
King Soopers Fundraiser
King Soopers Fundraising is one of the easiest and best ways that we receive regular funds to support our department. If you follow the instructions below, 5% of your spending at King Soopers will go to support the activities of our department. In past years this has brought in about $300 a month, but since they moved to the new system only 17 families have signed up to participate and we are only receiving $50 a month. It would be a huge help if you can take a few minutes to enroll in the Community Rewards Program. Once you are enrolled there is nothing more you need to do. Thank you!
