Community Meeting – Date changed to Tuesday, Sept. 20 – 6-7pm
In order to align our department’s community meeting with the DSA PTSO meeting, we have decided to move the meeting to Tuesday, Sept. 20 from 6-7pm. The PTSO is holding an open meeting from 7-8pm in library that night. In our Stagecraft & Design Community Meeting we will provide updates on the happenings in the department and discuss some upcoming events this fall. This meeting is a great chance to get to know some of the other parents in the department and to ask questions of the faculty. We hope to see many of you there!

All-School Musical Concessions
The all-school musical opened yesterday and our fundraising efforts for concessions sales are off to a great start. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to run the table and who have brought in water, food and snacks for us to sell. We still are in need of more food donations to keep the table stocked for the second weekend run, so you can sign up on the web page below and bring non-perishable items to the Lighting classroom any day next week.

King Soopers Gift Cards
Using our King Soopers gift cards is another great way that we can raise money for the department. Funds raised through this program help pay for guest artists, materials, and field trips. We have to sell $5,000 or more to get our 5% donation, which we usually meet every other month. Help us meet our goal to get the donation every single month! It’s really easy–just get into the habit of loading your card once a week when you do your shopping. You can even reload them at the self-checkout lanes. You can also use the gift cards to pay for gas, beer, or liquor at the stores that sell those items. Get cards for your kids, spouses, and even out-of-town relatives who shop Kroger.
