Women in Classical Music

Women in Classical Music is a unit designed to provide students knowledge about women musicians who were or are composers, writers, and/or performers.  An advantage to a unit such as this is the ability to cross musical periods, musical generes, and musical styles.

We will discuss the lives and work from this list of the following musicians:
