High School Community Service  - 10 hours per semester = 100 points (20 hours – 200 points per school year).  High School students will be required to complete community service in music education that supports the guitar program at DSA.  Hours are graded for work ethic.  Hours are documented and eligible for use in other organizations such as Tri-M music honor society. Hours may be completed by tutoring music theory and guitar during guitar club in the guitar classroom after school Tuesday and Wednesday, 2:45 – 3:45, Tutoring during morning guitar class Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 7:45 – 8:45, 5th hour guitar elective class Monday, Thursday, 11:00 – 12:00 and Traveling to DPS schools to teach music lessons

Hours may also be completed through concert work, creating power point, creating posters, burning CDs of concert, creating CD covers, stage managing.
